Embracing

the reality of my higher self

and I will encounter you in your reality

not a moment earlier

as it is impossible to do it any other way

I’m here

to surrender to the metamorphosis

dissolving

in the process of becoming

who I am

that does not entail altering the exterior

but witnessing

the inner self of who I believed I was

while I was adjusting to the perspectives of others

ideas

handed down to me from others

passed on to them by others

of others

by others

through others

a loop of recollections

continuously reused

to other the self

othering

cycles re-cycled

cycling

whirling

spiralling

downward

until the bottom is reached

I am stepping out

here

now

then

only then

the spiralling upwards begins

Embracing the ancestral path

with compassion
